This digital interpretation transforms Vermeer’s classic subject into a minimalist geometric composition. The use of subdued colours and faceted shapes directs the viewer’s attention to the jewellery—the symbolic centre of the work.

The work was created in Adobe Photoshop for the construction and refinement of the geometric shapes, and Adobe InDesign for the final cover layout and typography. The use of clean lines and smooth transitions gives the work a contemporary yet timeless aesthetic.
